The Lord of Illusion: a novel (by Kathryne Kennedy)

Product description: this is the last third book of the series. The rule of Elven is coming to the end, or at least the hope of rebels then. Several years have passed since the book 1 and in this book, we meet Drystan Hawkes. The couple of book 2 raised him to Wales, and so the story continues.Drystan, is more the book sort of hero, and I love a hero who loves books. He is also in love with a woman, he dreamed of and wants to find him. And we know all that this woman will be the mysterious slave girl. Camille who was ill-treated and does not trust men. It is not a love story that will be easy but true love will always win and their passion can conquer all.The book is on those other two, find the rebels trying to win the war and the cruelty of the elven Lords. It is quite the race to the finish line. One thing that I was not too happy and that is that there was one reference to two other couples who stole the scepters and I felt triché. I wanted to read their stories, but I can not because they are not written, and I really wish that they had been written. Instead, he had jumped on a few important things and reach this point, so that he could be terminated at all. Still I liked the book, even if I felt like I wanted to read these stories too. The one and only Ivan: a novel (by Katherine Applegate)

Product description: I was hesitant to chose this book thinking animal book would be too stupid or something... but Home of Applegate of the Brave is one of my favorite books ever so I decided to take a chance. And I am so happy that I have. This book was wonderful absolutely wonderful. I loved just each animal and human character. Ivan the Gorilla artistic, Stella, stoic mother elephant, Bob the harsh on the outside but not lasts inside dog and although sure Ruby baby elephant be loved. And humans: George the sympathetic janitor and her daughter Julie, somewhat like fern in Charlotte web because it can almost understand Ivan or at least understand his art. Each character is real even Mack the owner of the menagerie, although we hate what he done, there is more too it than just evil. The situation was so sad but so well made at the minute, I finished the book, I have immediately forwarded to my daughter... perhaps not the best idea to give to him at bedtime, but because I could not get her to turn off the light, she was so immediately drawn in the book. I highly recommend this moving book, who teaches compassion to animals. To learn more...

The Tower: A novel (by o of ' Malley in Daniel)

I have this book on a whim while at the bookstore. Everything seemed really interesting. Once I started reading, I would not put. There is just enough humor to keep it from feeling too stilted and just enough intrigue to keep to be too soft. The idea of a secret spy agency which is designed to monitor the supernatural events of the world is not new, but the author takes and makes it his own. There are specific parts of the book/conspiracy that remind me of xmen, buffy the vampire slayer, xfiles, harry potter - but at the same time not bad way. The book mixes all those together very well. It is a good read from beginning to the end. I look forward to read more of this author! To learn more...

The colony of the Devil: A novel of Sigma Force (by James Rollins)

The pace begins to run from the beginning, and it slows just never. The issues in the book simply get larger and larger. Technically, it is a well structured page-Turner. But ultimately, it is the story I was and I held. Each part of it was so inventive, exciting and so very interesting! I titled this review "better." Novel. Yet. "I expect Mr. Rollins topping the devil colony anytime soon, but I hold out hope. He wrote it. What wonderful tales can we look forward to in the future? To learn more...

The devil amongst the lawyers: a novel of ballad (by Sharyn mccrumb's)

This is not his best effort, but it is still very good. It is the story of a professor at Appalachian arrested for the murder of his father. History is not primarily on teachers, but rather the journalists who cover the story. There is a mystery here, but this is not the heart of the book. Mccrumb's is his best writing in the South and the people who live there. Discover this book or any of its other. To learn more...
