Professor Goldstein has done a wonderful job to present a complex subject in terms we can understand. I wish that this book was published years ago and that more people had read, perhaps things would be different today.The book explains in no uncertain terms why we are not a war and cut taxes at the same time, he discovered all the hidden costs of war and shows how we can perhaps these costs without increasing income. Goldstein has shown here that we are engage the debt that we, our children and grandchildren, will be attached with for many years. If we are to believe that a war on terrorism is in our interest that we must make difficult choices on how pay us for war.
