Smithsonian Lacey wrote his column of Crimes and the mode for the Washington DC Eye Street observer function. She left her hometown of sagebrush after her boyfriend suggests the temperature is below freezing and his boss on the hometown newspaper gets on his last nerve.Lacey learns that cattle farmer Cole Tucker, who once proposed to her, was arrested for the murder of women over a period of two years. She flies to the sagebrush for whether the man she once loved is a serial killer. At a meeting of ten minutes at the Palace of justice, Cole takes Lacey hostage and escapes with her to an abandoned cabin. He insists that he was trapped by a sly adversary who wants his ranch for the rights of water, minerals and oil. The breeder provides his former girlfriend, a list of which considers the greed of his land and capable of such a diabolical stratagem before releasing her. Believing that Cole is innocent, Lacey swear to find evidence that exonerates him. While no female was murdered while Cole was in custody, another woman is removed. However, this time Cole an alibi to a journalist from the girlfriend ex which also resolved before homicide (see Shot by Velvet, garment tomb and the armies and Glamorous).The latest survey of Smithsonian is a formidable entry as heroin is that you can go home if you still have your costume cowboy especially boots in this regional whodunit.
